Training Courses: Radar

Three-to-five day courses and worshops in modern radar systems and technologies are presented. These have been given to diverse military, Intelligence and industrial organizations in the U.S. and abroad.  Classified versions of most of these courses can be given as appropriate.

Advanced Radar Systems and Technologies

This four or five day course provides an understanding of the concepts and key technologies that have revolutionized modern radar systems.  Such technologies include high power and low noise amplifiers employing GaN and other advanced semiconductor technologies, Active Electronically Scanned Arrays, adaptive waveforms, multiband and multi-static radar, and adaptive processing and control. The concepts, architectures and uses are presented of advanced radar techniques such as impulse radar, imaging radar, SAR/ISAR, OTHR, GMTI, networked 2D and 3D radars, bi-static and multi-static radar.

Introduction to Radar

An insightful, up-to-date overview of the theoretical foundations, concepts and capabilities of various classes of radar, with discussion of diverse modern radar systems for tactical platforms, coastal and maritime surveillance, air and missile defense, airborne radars, etc.: design, concept of operation, and performance issues.  Suiitable for engineers operators and staff desiring an introduction or update in current rar methods and systems.
